Abstract submission is now closed.

Special thanks to all of you who have submitted your abstracts for the congress. We hope you are excited as we are to see them being presented in September!

Late breaking abstract submission!

For those who did not get to submit their abstract, there is still a chance from 17 June 2024!

You can submit late breaking abstracts by 1 July 2024 that will then be presented as poster at the congress.
(Late breaking abstracts will only be approved as poster presentations!)

The deadline for late breaking submission is Monday (1 July 2024), 23:59 CEST.

Submitting an abstract implies a related registration for the congress according to the current registration fees.

Please note: Early registration ends on 10 June 2024, after that date the regular registration fee applies.

Abstract submission is again linked to registration. The submission of an abstract is therefore only possible if the participant has registered for the congress in advance. If you indicate during registration that you would like to submit an abstract, we will automatically create an account for you on the abstract submission platform. You will receive the access data with the automatic registration confirmation directly after completing the online registration.

If you already activated your abstract account after completing your registration you can access the abstract submission platform here!

Please adhere to the following submission guidelines:

Oral presentations are short talks in sessions joining about 5-8 presentations with a common focus. Speaking time should be around 10 minutes plus about 5 minutes discussion.
All colleagues are welcome to opt for presenting their results as an „oral“ including young investigators who might appreciate this opportunity to explain and discuss their data in front of experienced colleagues.

Posters, on the other hand, may leave more time for detailed technical discussions and joint problemsolving for your ongoing projects. Please feel free to select either format, but be aware that the scientific committee might have to change abstracts from one presentation modus to the other due to time or space restrictions.

Abstract Topics

During the online submission please indicate which of the following categories is best suited for your abstract (the scientific committee is entitled to re-assign the abstract to a different category if necessary).

  1. Blood and immune system
  2. Cardiac system
  3. Cellular/molecular physiology of neurons & glia cells
