I cordially welcome you to Vienna. As successfully delivered several times before, it is a privilege to host the meeting of the German Physiological Society, the Austrian Physiological Society (APS) and Life Sciences Switzerland (LS²) Physiology in Austria. Our gathering will unfold in the pleasant inner courtyards of the ‘altes AKH’.

The scientific program for this event evolves from its predecessors, featuring plenary lectures, engaging symposia, and presentations of abstracts in both oral and poster formats, encompassing the entire spectrum of contemporary physiology. Furthermore, we provided space for presymposia to all Special interest groups in the morning of the first conference day.

Vienna is a historical but also modern city, vibrant, inspiring and has for several years been selected as the worlds most liveable city. I invite you to enjoy the surrounding and immerse yourselves in three days of scientific exploration!
