DPG and SPS invites you to submit your best original images for consideration to the

Physiology with Flow Image Competition!

Prizes will be awarded for the top images in the scientific and interpretive categories.

Submissions are due by 06 September 2026.

An image can be submitted in one of the two categories: scientific and artistic (interpretive (KI-enabled) and “science gone wrong”)
Each individual may submit one only image per category
All congress attendees are welcome to submit

You should be the owner /creator of the image and /or have full permission to submit it for this contest: it is your responsibbility to ensure there are no copyright issues associated with your image
By entering the contest, you give DPG & SPS permission to use the image (with attribution to you) on the congress website and other digital or print media, including the DPG and/or SPS journals

Prepare these submission requirements and Email or WeTransfer your picture(s) to c.meyer-schwesinger@uke.de with following informations:

Your name, affiliation and email adress
Image title and short explanation of why this image is important for research in Physiology (max. 100 words)
Image upload with your name in the file title

Deadline is Sunday 6 September at 11:59 pm Eastern Daylight Time for image submissions
The winner will be announced during the posterprize session on Saturday
Winners will receive a prize which may include a feature of their image as cover image of an issue in the DPG (Pflügers) and / or SPS journal (Acta Physiologica) and other nice surprises 😀
