Dear colleagues,

I am thrilled to welcome you to Hamburg — a city that pulses with water and movement. Together, we will dive into the dynamic world of translational and integrative (patho)physiology, exploring how organ systems communicate — from the molecular to the organismal level — and how new technologies shape our understanding of health and disease. Through cross-sectional and classic symposia, oral and poster sessions, and inspiring keynote lectures, we will tackle pressing clinical riddles and illuminate the physiology behind public health challenges. A dedicated educational track, featuring teaching modules and interactive workshops, will further expand the congress program and actively contribute to the FLOW of education. Presymposia of Special Interest Groups and Young Physiologist will set the FLOW on September 16. The following currents of discovery from September 17 to 19 will include the FLOW of molecules such as ions, second messengers and glucose, the FLOW of blood, - air and - urine, the FLOW of motion, - systems, and - applications.

Join me in Hamburg to boost translation, innovation, and meaningful connections between academia, and medicine at the UKE and Hafen-Klub Hamburg while overseeing the FLOW of gigantic container ships.
